Our ideas for the task

We wanted to do something slightly different genre wise, we discussed horrors, comedies and romances and chose to go with a soap opera style scene in the end. We looked at some of our favourite episodes of our favourite soap operas and combined our own ideas with camera shots and camera angles from real dramas, to create a more professional film. We mapped out on a story board what camera angles and shots we would use we also looked at where in each scene we would put the 180º rule, match on action scene and shot reverse shot to make sure when we got to filming we had the required elements that were needed for the exam board. We then wrote a script and added the ideas we thought we would need for our film and then started filming.
